Petrásková, Veronika ; Hojka, Vladimír (advisor) ; Feher, Jan (referee)
Title: Changes in biomechanical parameters of the running stride during model training of a special pace 800 m runner (in the preparatory and competition period) Objectives: The aim of this pilot study was to determine the dynamics of changes in selected biomechanical parameters and then to compare these changes in probands over a 2- month period based on baseline and outcome measurements. Methods: The measurements were performed on three probands, each proband representing a different type of runner (novice athlete, recreational athlete, performance athlete in the national under-23 team). Qualitative analyses with the Optojump device were used. The research was carried out in a pressurized hall in Strahov on an indoor 200 m track in two measurements. The first measurement represented the end of the preparation period and the second the competition period. The probands completed the so-called model training (300 m and 200 m) at a special pace with a one-minute break between sections. During the selected sections, biomechanical parameters were collected by Optojump equipment on an indoor 200 m track in 10 m corridors. Results: Proband 1 improved by 3.1 s over 300 m and by 2.1 s over 200 m in the output measurements of the model training. This improvement was reflected in a 0.006 s reduction in...

Procházka, Martin ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Title: The Comparison of pressure changes in the running shoes of different drop Student: Martin Procházka Supervisor: PhDr. Aleš Kaplan, Ph.D. Consulting: Mgr. Aleš Tvrzník Thesis'objectives: The main objective of this thesis was to monitor changes in pressures acting on the foot in stand phase with different variables. There were some external conditions that were changed, the running speed (10, 12, 14 and 16 km/h), running technique (heelstrike and forefoot strike) and the main theme of the work, running shoes of different drop (10, 5, 0 mm). Current pressures on the foot were obtained through special inserts Pedar - X and further processed into the software of the German brand Novel. Secondary objective was to intra- and inter-compare probands with greater emphasis on intra-individual component because of the diversity of technique of each proband. One of the aims of this work was the possibility of subsequent feedback and training recommendations for these runners based on the obtained values. Thesis methodology: Probands were tested on a treadmill HP KOSMOS specialized laboratory CASRI. In each section of the sample was determined by measuring the 100 steps to the right and 100 steps to the left foot. It means approximately 90 seconds of running in one speed and technique. The prints were...

Ryzáková, Lenka ; Kaplan, Aleš (advisor) ; Hojka, Vladimír (referee)
Title: The description of the running technique of the Czech record holder in sprint in the category of 15 years. Objectives: The main aim of my Bachelor study was to describe the technique running of a sprinter in the category of 15 years. Based on the methodology of educational research we evaluated the level of the running technique on the shortest sprint track in the category of 15 years, on the 60 meters, by the deliberately chosen individual. The monitored object is the current best sprinter in the Czech Republic in the category of 15 years. Methods: In the presented Bachelor study there are used the educational methods as the observation and the questionnaire. Using the observation and the subsequent description we monitored the performance of individual techniques in terms of block starts, acceleration and full-speed running. We also monitored the performance level of this young talented sprinter in athletic seasons 2009 and 2010. We used the questioning to determine the possible early stages of specialised athletic training. Results: Thank to the set plan of the Bachelor study, we recorded, in terms of the running technique of the observed subject, an individual sprint performance, which did not differ from the standard description of the sprint technique. As we deal with a competitor in...
Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech runners
Franková, Aneta ; Červinka, Pavel (advisor) ; Semerád, Miroslav (referee)
Title: Evaluation of running techniques in elite Czech male and female runners Aims: The main goal of the work is to evaluate the running technique of elite Czech male and female runners on middle tracks and intra-individual variability of the running style. Methods of work: Qualitative kinematic analysis of motion and quantitative cinematographic examination method of video recording of running technique were used to create this work. The records were further processed using Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Kinovea and Microsoft Excel. Results: The individual probands of the research group fulfill a substantial part of the model running technique recommended by the literature such as the active forefoot strike, the duration of individual phases, or the correct position of the head, torso, and extended reflex limb in the propulsion phase. So, we can say that Czech runners are technically capable. However, at the same time we observe a different individual concept of running technique for each proband, such as lumbar hyperlordosis, retroflection of torso, head tilt or the extent of arm work. Key words: biomechanics of motion, kinematic analysis, running technique, economics of motion

Vyhnálek, Vojtěch ; Gryc, Tomáš (advisor) ; Červinka, Pavel (referee)
Title: The difference in kinematic and kinetic parameters of running using running shoes, barefoot and shod Objectives: The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze the kinematic and kinetic parameters of running using different types of shoes. We tested a sample of four probands aged 20-25 years male. Using applied clusters, we examined the differences in individual runs. Methods: The experiment was attended by 4 runners (men only) who completed a monitored run on a 3D running ergometer at several speeds. A CODA Motion System 3D kinematic analyzer with the appropriate ODIN software was used to evaluate the kinematic parameters, and a 3D running ergometer with implemented power plates and h / p cosmos designed software was used to evaluate the kinetic parameters. The measurements were one-time. The obtained data were processed in Microsoft Excel 2019, where the tables used in this work were created. Results: All subjects demonstrated an immediate change in technique during the transition from running shoes to minimalist shoes and then barefoot. The most significant changes took place in the tread angle, the ankle angle, the cadence of the steps and the force produced by the impact. However, changes in the monitored parameters did not lead to the correct running technique in barefoot shoes, which...
